NOBASIL PTN
Application : Floating floors-hard - Floors
Datasheets : EN_ptn.pdf
Description
NOBASIL PTN slab is made from mineral wool. It is hygrophobic throughout its cross section.
USE
NOBASIL PTN Slab is intended for thermal insulation of floating concrete floors and as acoustic insulation, especially for reducing airborne and impact sound transmission through floors constructed in civic buildings.
NOBASIL PTN slab is clean and hygienic, and therefore suitable for interior use.
NOBASIL PTN slab
- it has low thermal conductivity – excellent insulation properties
- it is non-combustible – it increases the passive safety of buildings
- it has acoustic properties – it absorbs impact sound energy
- it is biologically stable – on correct application it maintains long-lasting insulation properties
- it is resistant to microorganisms and rodents
- it is chemically neutral – it does not react with surrounding materials
- under changing temperatures it is stable in volume and shape
- it is easy to cut to the required size and shape
- it does not absorb water – hygrophobic throughout its cross section
- during transport, storage and installation it must be protected from the effects of the weather
It is important to comply with the following instructions:
- to install the slab for a finish without joints and separated from the adjoining wall, separating strips of NOBASIL must be used
- before concreting it is necessary to protect the slabs with a continuous waterproof layer.
