Description
Mineral fibrous insulation material on the basis of glass with ECOSE® Technology, standardly supplied in slabs packed in packages containing several pieces.
Recommended application - external walls.
TP 116 with ECOSE® Technology is intended for application in external walls as a thermal insulation filling applied on the inside of external coating constructions, in wooden grid constructions of external walls, in soft wood or metal based claddings. In case of application in the open diffusion systems no moisture barrier needs to be applied on the inside.
On the outside of the product a covering (e.g. fibrebuilding) board is provided on which final plaster stuff or metal cladding is applied. In non-opened diffusion systems it is recommended to apply a moisture barrier on the inner side of the thermal insulation. In metal constructions it is the metal cladding alone that has the function of a moisture barrier, however, application of additional moisture barrier increases thermal insulation properties of the system.
Advantages
- very good thermal insulation properties
- high fire resistance
- hydrophobic material
- simple and easy handling
- dimensional stability, ideally fills in the given space
- benefits resulting from ECOSE® Technology:
- softer feel,
- less dusty,
- odourless,
- easy to cut.
Thermal conductivity coefficient λ = 0,037 W/mK
Reaction to fire A1
Package
The product is supplied in packages containing several slabs packed in PE plastic film. The protective package is marked with the manufacturer’s logo and a type plate indicating specification of the product and recommended mode of application.
